Mohawk

Didn't you all hear? The mohawk is BACK! It's in and we're sporting it! So please stop asking mommy if she really cut our hair to look like this.
Now moving on to bigger and better things. Food. Food is great...it's really a good thing to have around. If mommy needs to get some stuff done in the kitchen - we love it because she puts us in our chairs and gives us fruit. Our favorite is frozen grapes. YUMMY! Meal time is the one time that we argue over mommy and daddy's attention. If the ratio isn't 1:1 - all heck breaks loose. We know that 1 mommy = 1 bowl & 1 spoon. And we have perfected the "I want a bite!" whine. She should just clone herself and we'd be all set.
On-the-go update: Emily is crawling...backward. Hannah is crawling...forward. Hailey is no longer using her outside voice when she wants to change positions because she has since learned how to roll over in both directions. So now she just rolls her way around...while using her outside voice to let everyone know she's coming.

PUMPKIN PATCH

We LOVED the pumpkin patch! We had soooooo much fun there! We took the ferry boat over the river - it was our 1st time on a boat. We took a hayride all the way to where the pumpkins were and there was a whole bunch of them...so many we couldn't even count. We also went through the corn maze - the corn stalks were taller than mommy & daddy! Uncle Joey and Kristen came with us so we didn't have to ride in the stroller. And...there was another set of triplets there too! They were 5 years old and so much bigger than we are right now. They can even walk! Wow...we can't wait until we can walk...mommy is in trouble - hehe.

We're going to the doctor tomorrow to get our flu shots but mommy canceled our ear piercing appointments. She & daddy decided it would be best to wait until we're older. We're gonna go work on a plan to escape getting the flu shots - we're really tired of these shot things.

Oh - we're working on the blog a bit - trying to find the perfect match for us so you'll be seeing some new backgrounds for a little while.

Playdates

Today we had a playdate...actually 2 of them! Mommy has a new friend that has twins and they came over to play today. We had a lot of fun! We got to share our toys and tell jokes that only babies understand. We can't wait until they come back to visit again.
Tomorrow mommy & daddy are planning to bring us to the pumpkin patch. We're not sure what this is since it's our very 1st Halloween but we're pretty sure it'll be fun. We'll keep you posted.

Hi everyone! I have a new "mad" face...and mommy says it's really cute so I put it up on youtube. Enjoy! Oh...and don't worry - I'm not crawling yet like Hannah and Emily - I'm still letting mommy do the work of moving me around. I mean really - I'm holding my own bottle...I can't let her think I'm too independant now.

More food

Oh yeah...we love food! We've graduated from just veggies to fruits too! Bananas are the best but we also enjoy apples, pears, cherries and peaches. We have these mesh things that mommy puts fresh fruit & veggies in and we can chew them and it feels good on our gums and tastes good too. It's great to eat all this yummy food...we can't even imagine what it's going to be like when we have teeth. Speaking of which - we're still teething. Enough said about that.

New video on youtube. We are all practicing the technique of holding our own bottles...and we're getting pretty good at it!

OOOOPS

We're just going to pretend it hasn't been almost 2 weeks since we've blogged. (sorry Kerry!)
Hannah and Emily are both on the move. Emily mostly crawls backwards right now and Hannah rocks herself forward. Hailey just uses her outside voice when she wants to change positions. Hailey is rolling over front/back and back/front now...this is a huge milestone! We love playing with toys! It's hard work and we concentrate deeply when we find a toy we like. We love to jump in our jumpers and we also still love going for our walks of course. WE HAVE SHOES NOW! That's right...our feet are big enough for cute little shoes. We don't share shoes because our feet are different and we should be able to have something to ourselves! We also don't have the same shoes. Mommy doesn't dress us the same very often so having the same shoes for all of us would just get confusing.
Ok...we'll post pics later. Gotta go for a walk...did you all know the leaves change colors?!?!
