Wow! We love Halloween! We got all dressed up in our costumes and went trick-or-treating at daddy's work, mommy's work, Uncle Pete's work and then at Granmda and Poppies house! Mommy won't let us have the candy we got but we also got bubbles so we played with those when we got home. We also answered the door with mommy and handed out candy to some of the kids in the neighborhood. One little girl came dressed up as a princess...that's what we want to be next year! Or maybe we'll dress up like a unicorn, or a teddy bear, or a flower...oh there are so many options! We have to go. We're going to start working on next years costumes.

1st Postcard

We recieved our very 1st postcard ever in the mail yesterday! Our friend from church, Miss Donna, comes to visit us every week but she's in FL this week. So she sent us a pretty postcard with dolphins on it. We really like it and we really miss Miss Donna!!! We hope she's having fun down there with the dolphins. And thanks for our 1st postcard. It made us feel very special and very loved!

What about ME?

This morning I was playing all by myself with my little mirror toy and all of sudden I heard Emily and Hannah laughing! Can you believe that mommy was playing with them and didn't get me?!?! So I peaked and there's mommy with the camera ready to take a picture. I'm cute. No need to tell me. Hehe

Friends for life

You know what the best part about being triplets is? We always have a friend to play with! We just love hanging out with each other. Sometimes we don't even let mommy play with us so that we can tell secrets and talk in our own language. If we let mommy play with us all the time - she might start to understand what we are saying to each other. Then we'd be in trouble cuz she'd know when we are planning to sneak out of our cribs and play at night. Ok - we're off to play out on the swings for while.

Hailey Rose

I've figured out that if I skip a nap every now and then...I get to play with mommy all by myself. I decided today was a good day for this. Mommy gave us all baths this morning and put on our new shirts that Titi Rosemary bought for us. So while the other 2 are sleeping, mommy did a mini photo shoot with just me and then we played and I made mommy laugh so hard! I kept doing my mad face and then laughing. I also love to talk now so I kept telling mommy stories. I don't think she understands what I'm saying (only Emily and Hannah understand me right now) but she looks like she's enjoying my conversations so I just keep going. I almost slipped up and told her about how daddy let us watch tv this morning while we were letting her sleep in...that was a close one. Wow - skipping a nap is fun but it makes me sleepy.

Our cousin Christina lives in VA and we miss her a lot. But thanks to mommy and Auntie Manda, we can talk to her on the computer now. It's great cuz she dances for us and plays games and shows us new toys. We like it when she visits for real - but talking with her on the computer is fun too.

As some of you know - mommy had a very nice, very fast, very hot, black 1998 Mustang GT. Key word is had. When she found out she was pregnant with all 3 of us the mustang soon turned into a very nice, not so fast, very mom-like minivan. Now...we are extrememly thankful for this van as our lives would be much less mobile without it. Auntie Manda called today to tell us she just bought this red mustang. We're very excited that we'll be able to go for a ride in this very fast, very nice, very hot, red mustang cuz we never got to ride in mommy's car (except when we were in her that doesn't count). But we're also gonna have to give mommy lots of hugs today as she's a little sad. But after today - Auntie Manda will you come pick us up and take us for a ride please oh please oh please?!?!?! PLEEEEEEEEEEEASE?????????????

Blogging, leaves & hats

I guess as the saying goes "if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself". Truth be told - we've been letting mommy do the blogging for us. We tell her what we want to say and she puts it up on the blog. But lately we've been telling her a lot of things and then we checked the blog and she hasn't been updating it! A whole week before a post?!?! What's wrong with her? It's not like she has quadruplets or quintuplets for crying out loud!!! There are only 3 of us! So now we have to take time out of our very busy schedule to update the blog ourselves. We guess it's ok...we knew it was bound to happen sooner or later. Guess it was just sooner than later.

On a different note...mommy tried to have a fall photo-op today. Not happening! Leaves are very nice - on the trees! But don't put us in the middle of them and think we're going to act all cute. Usually she gets 60 - 70 pics during our photo-ops (she always says you have to take a lot of pictures to get the perfect one but we think every picture with us in it is perfect anyway). Today she got a total of 8 pictures before she realized it wasn't happening. Somehow she did manage to catch us off guard and grabbed a shot of us when we weren't actually crying. So we'll put that up today so you can all see. But the only reason we'll post the pic is so you can see our hats. A special lady that works with mommy made these hats for us when we were still in mommy's belly. We wore them to the mall yesterday and sooooooo many people stopped to tell us how adorable these hats are. So...don't look at the leaves! Just look at the hats.

side note...(I loved being outside in the leaves! You don't see me crying do you? That's cuz I'm the oldest). Hailey Rose

Didn't you all hear? The mohawk is BACK! It's in and we're sporting it! So please stop asking mommy if she really cut our hair to look like this.
Now moving on to bigger and better things. Food. Food is's really a good thing to have around. If mommy needs to get some stuff done in the kitchen - we love it because she puts us in our chairs and gives us fruit. Our favorite is frozen grapes. YUMMY! Meal time is the one time that we argue over mommy and daddy's attention. If the ratio isn't 1:1 - all heck breaks loose. We know that 1 mommy = 1 bowl & 1 spoon. And we have perfected the "I want a bite!" whine. She should just clone herself and we'd be all set.
On-the-go update: Emily is crawling...backward. Hannah is crawling...forward. Hailey is no longer using her outside voice when she wants to change positions because she has since learned how to roll over in both directions. So now she just rolls her way around...while using her outside voice to let everyone know she's coming.

More pics

Here are a few more pics from the pumkin patch.

Sunday, October 12, 2008

We LOVED the pumpkin patch! We had soooooo much fun there! We took the ferry boat over the river - it was our 1st time on a boat. We took a hayride all the way to where the pumpkins were and there was a whole bunch of many we couldn't even count. We also went through the corn maze - the corn stalks were taller than mommy & daddy! Uncle Joey and Kristen came with us so we didn't have to ride in the stroller. And...there was another set of triplets there too! They were 5 years old and so much bigger than we are right now. They can even walk! Wow...we can't wait until we can walk...mommy is in trouble - hehe.

We're going to the doctor tomorrow to get our flu shots but mommy canceled our ear piercing appointments. She & daddy decided it would be best to wait until we're older. We're gonna go work on a plan to escape getting the flu shots - we're really tired of these shot things.

Oh - we're working on the blog a bit - trying to find the perfect match for us so you'll be seeing some new backgrounds for a little while.

Ok - here are some pics of the pumpkin much fun! We can't wait until Halloween is really here - we all have costumes!!!!!!!

Friday, October 10, 2008

Today we had a playdate...actually 2 of them! Mommy has a new friend that has twins and they came over to play today. We had a lot of fun! We got to share our toys and tell jokes that only babies understand. We can't wait until they come back to visit again.
Tomorrow mommy & daddy are planning to bring us to the pumpkin patch. We're not sure what this is since it's our very 1st Halloween but we're pretty sure it'll be fun. We'll keep you posted.
Food update - FROZEN GRAPES ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Have a great weekend!

Hi everyone! I have a new "mad" face...and mommy says it's really cute so I put it up on youtube. Enjoy! Oh...and don't worry - I'm not crawling yet like Hannah and Emily - I'm still letting mommy do the work of moving me around. I mean really - I'm holding my own bottle...I can't let her think I'm too independant now.
Have a good day!

More food

Oh yeah...we love food! We've graduated from just veggies to fruits too! Bananas are the best but we also enjoy apples, pears, cherries and peaches. We have these mesh things that mommy puts fresh fruit & veggies in and we can chew them and it feels good on our gums and tastes good too. It's great to eat all this yummy food...we can't even imagine what it's going to be like when we have teeth. Speaking of which - we're still teething. Enough said about that.

New video on youtube. We are all practicing the technique of holding our own bottles...and we're getting pretty good at it!

Happy Monday!!!

We're just going to pretend it hasn't been almost 2 weeks since we've blogged. (sorry Kerry!)
Hannah and Emily are both on the move. Emily mostly crawls backwards right now and Hannah rocks herself forward. Hailey just uses her outside voice when she wants to change positions. Hailey is rolling over front/back and back/front now...this is a huge milestone! We love playing with toys! It's hard work and we concentrate deeply when we find a toy we like. We love to jump in our jumpers and we also still love going for our walks of course. WE HAVE SHOES NOW! That's right...our feet are big enough for cute little shoes. We don't share shoes because our feet are different and we should be able to have something to ourselves! We also don't have the same shoes. Mommy doesn't dress us the same very often so having the same shoes for all of us would just get confusing.
Ok...we'll post pics later. Gotta go for a walk...did you all know the leaves change colors?!?!
