Hanging out

We love to hang out with each other. And right now we're trading teething stories. Yup...still teething. And guess what? IT'S STILL NOT FUN! This is the year 2008 and they haven't come up with some new, innovative way to help us through this mess yet?!?! Oh well. We're going to grow up and invent something ourselves so no other mommy has to go through this agony.

This teething thing is for the birds. It's not fun and we don't understand why mommy can't hold us all at the same time. We're not that big yet. Hopefully all our teeth come in at one time in the same day. Then we can be done with this already!

No walk today. Mommy had errands to do so we went with her. We like the car now and Hannah doesn't get sick anymore in the car. It messed up our nap time a little bit though. That's ok. Mommy will throw us right back into this thing she calls a "routine" and we'll be good to go.

Don't tell Emmie or Hannah...but I got up early from my nap today so I could spend extra time with mommy. Love, Hailey Rose

So as not to dissappoint the viewers/readers of this is today's post. First let us start with facts. Mommy has decided to let us choose our own baseball team to root for. So we did some research on the New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox. We'll be rooting for the team with the most World Series rings, highest paid players (since only the best team can pay their players the most money) and of course...the team with the cutest shortstop. GO YANKEES!

Moving on to today's happenings. We are all teething and it's not fun - for anyone. We spent most of the day chewing on our hands and anything that came close to our mouths. We did enjoy some time outside on the swings and of course we went for a walk today as well.

How are we?

We know we should post more often but really - we're busy. We have so much to learn and so much to do during the day that we just don't have enough time for everything. We are doing very well. We still sleep through the night. Our bedtime is 8:00 and we usually sleep until 6 or 7 in the morning now. We are all getting cereal (and loving it!) and we talk and talk and talk all day long. Well - mostly it's Hannah talking and us (Emmie and Hailey) listening but that's ok...we love her stories. We went to the doctor on Thursday and mommy had to leave the room to talk to the doctor. Why? Because Emmie was screaming so loud no one could hear. Then we started screaming too cuz we don't like it when Emmie's not happy. She has stranger anxiety right now and she sure didn't like the doctor. We didn't have any shots this time though! We did get weighed and here are our weights: Emmie 13lbs 9.5oz, Hannah 11lbs 1oz & Hailey 10lbs 6oz. That's pretty good considering what we weighed when we were born! We love to sing and play and as most of you have seen, we love to watch our Baby Einstein videos.

That's all for now. We will try really hard to post more often. And keep checking back because mommy is going to learn how to use the video camera and put up more videos of us on YouTube!

I am the 1st one to let this happen and I'm trying to warn Hannah and Emily that they should avoid teething at all costs. It's not fun.

What's new

It's been a whole week since we've updated the blog! It's just that we are so busy doing new things. Hannah and Hailey are rolling over from front to back now. Emily is close...just not there yet. Hailey is getting cereal now as well as Emily. Not Hannah because she's just not ready yet. We did go swimming for the 1st time on Friday and it was soooooo much fun! We can't wait to go back to the pool - that's going to be one of our favorite things to do now. And let's not forget the swings that daddy put up on the porch for us. We LOVE them! We could sit out there for hours and just swing swing swing and swing some more. Actually - we're gonna go do that now. Have a good day!

Cutie Pies

We know..."we're so cute!" right? Well - would one of you PLEASE tell mommy that these so called "photo-ops" are annoying? Really...enough already! We had to sit through 125 pictures! We could have been swinging on our new swings that daddy hung on the porch for us but nooooo, we have to get our smiley faces out and pose for the camera. Well guess what? We decided that next time mommy pulls this photo shoot thing on us...we're all going to spit up all over her! We tried to not look so cute for this last photo shoot but then we realized that is just simply impossible. We're not sure what we were thinking when we thought for one minute that we couldn't look cute. HAHAHA!!!! Imagine?

Our Grandma Lucco

This is our grandma Lucco! When we visit with her she always holds us and walks us around and we really like that. She also sings songs to us in Spanish!

Our Grammie

This is our grammie. She comes over almost everyday and we can't wait until she gets here. If we're still sleeping when she gets here she'll clean up our mess from the night before, make coffee for her and mommy and then when we do wake up...she plays with us and it's so much fun! She goes on our long walks with us and she even gives us our baths sometimes. She's a big part of our daily routine and we love every minute of it!

Another Hospital Visit

Well that wasn't fun! I had to have a test and these doctors put me to sleep for a little while but first they had to put a needle in my hand. I didn't like that. It hurt and I cried. But that was it. I don't remember anything else after that until I woke up. Mommy and daddy were there when I opened my eyes and I felt better right away. Mommy said everything is ok so far. I guess that's good! Mommy stayed overnight with me and daddy came home with Hannah & Hailey - I missed them last night. I was glad to come home today. Hopefully I won't ever have to go back there again. Oh yeah - daddy and mommy bought me a stuffed puppy and he's soooo cute and soft and hugable! I'm gonna go play with him now.

Love, Emmie

What are sisters for?

So Emily has to spend the night in the hospital tomorrow. She's having her MRI. Hannah and I weren't sure we liked the idea of her going somewhere before we checked it out first. We had to make sure the place was good enough for our little sis so we came up with a plan. We decided that one of us would find a way to make mommy take us there to scope out the place. It was me, Hailey, that took one for the team...after all - I am the oldest. I stole one of mommy's hairs from her head and hid it in my sock. It got wrapped around my little toes and mommy couldn't get it out. She had to take me to the hospital so the doctors could take care of it. Plan worked. I got to scope out the hospital and it seems to be ok. It's clean and the doctors are really nice there. I told them that Emily was coming and they better take very good care of her or else they'll have to deal with me and Hannah. They seemed really scared so I'm pretty sure she's going to be ok.

Oh yeah - my toe is getting better too. It hurt a little but I didn't cry. I wanted the doctors to see how tough I was so they'd know who they were dealing with. That's what sisters are for.

Watch us!

Mom figured out how to put a video on youtube. So here's the story...we were all crying - and she videotaped it! People aren't supposed to see us crying! We're the "cute, oh so well behaved, best babies" in the world! And now you have to watch the video to see the rest. You need as to hear what mommy is saying and to listen to us all cry. And you have to watch the whole video to understand the importance. That's all for now...we have to go for a walk before it gets dark out.
Love you all!!!
