Playtime...Uncle Joey style
Prayers for Brady
http://stepsforbrady.blogspot.com/
Sometimes we forget how lucky we really are. We had 3 girls that were born 2 months premature. Their total birth weights combined didn't even equal 9lbs. And that was their only setback. If that's not proof positive of the power of prayer then I'm not sure what is.

Girlie Girls???
So mommy is fed up with our hair situation. She was taking picture after picture after picture and our hair (according to her) is "out of control!". We think it's just fine. Mommy tried to put these things in our hair to make our hair stay in place. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! Are you serious mommy? Yeah - they lasted for about 3 pictures before we ripped them out of each others hair. We couldn't reach the top of our own heads so we helped each other out. There is NOTHING wrong with the way our hair looks so you better not mess with it again!

Weekend
We went up to our cousin Kaleigh's house this weekend to visit. This was our 1st visit since we went up for xmas so we had a lot of making up to do! We think we managed to get everyone to forget that we ruined xmas altogether. It was much easier for us to hang out and play since there wasn't as many people there all at once. Next week we're going to try to go back and maybe more people will be added to mix (we hope!). Being up in MA and hanging out with family helped us forget that we're working on more teeth. Well we hope everyone had a great weekend!

Teeth
Pete and I have been checking Hannah's mouth everyday because we can see a tooth right through her gums. But everytime we check - still nothing. And today - still nothing. My mother came over today and said "any teeth yet?!?!" and stuck her finger in Hailey's mouth. She has a tooth! Lol...so I said to myself 'let me see if Emily has anything going on that I don't know about' and sure enough...she has a tooth also! Both of them have a bottom tooth. Yippie! Finally!!!!

2nd Hand clothes, toys etc...
There is a lot of buzz about the gov't passing a law that any 2nd hand child's item needs to be tested for lead by a 3rd party BEFORE you can sell it. I'll keep this short. If you can't beat 'em - join 'em! For those of you who depend on 2nd hand items (who can afford to buy everything new especially with more than one child?!?!) then you know that this new law the gov't has passed will indeed hinder the way our kids are dressed. Lol...I can't afford new clothes at Walmart nevermind Baby Gap, Gymboree or any other designer kids store! So here's what we can do UNTIL the law is changed. You can still sell your items on ebay, craigs list and tag sales however; you'll have to list them as such: "Items are FREE, you're purchasing a box - whatever is inside of this box is free." You can list everything you're selling and of course the cost of the "box" should cover whatever is inside of it. Here's an example: "FREE: 3 Christmas dresses size 6-12mo. Bidding for the box that these items will be shipped in starts at $10.00. Please note that you are not paying for the clothes. You are paying for the box itself and for the time and effort put into packing and shipping this box."
Unfortunately this is what we'll have to do until the laws change. We can't afford to lose 2nd hand items especially in an economy like today's. Here is a link to the Quintooples blog where she lists in detail what we need to do in order to change the law. There is also a link on the page to sign the petition. At least take the time to do that for those of us that just can't afford everything BRAND NEW. http://www.quintooples.com/

We're BETTER!!!!!!!!!!!
We are finally feeling 100% again. Finally! It's been a long few weeks but we're back to our happy selves and sleeping in our own cribs all night long again. We bet mommy misses having one of us in her bed though...but we like our cribs much better. While we were sick we had to take a whole bunch of baths. Sometimes a few a day. So mommy threw the rule of "one baby at a time in the tub" right out the window and put all 3 of our butts in the bath at the same time. We love it! We splash mommy and get her all wet then daddy takes us out and gets us dressed. We only have one tub chair but we have a Diego bath mat that keeps us from slipping and sliding around. Bath time is so much fun now!!!!!!

POOPY
We're still sick. Well Hannah is feeling better but the other two are still down and out. We'll post more when we're not feeling so "poopy". (mommy said we can write that cuz that's the word of the month apparently). No sleep = feeling poopy. Baby crying = poopy diaper. House smells...like POOPY! Poopy poopy poopy!

sick
We're all sick. We ended Christmas day with a virus and brought in the New Year with croup. Today is day 9 of complete and utter crud. So here's a brief description of what we're like when we're sick:
Hannah: I'm sick, poor me. Hold me, don't put me down unless I promt you to. And if promted - don't leave more than an arms length betweeen us as I'll expect to be picked right back up on command. Don't expect me to want to go to anyone else when daddy is around. He's the only on that is allowed to hold me, mom is 2nd and will do when daddy isn't here. Don't think about putting me in my crib. I'll be sleeping right between mommy and daddy for the entire night and every night thereafter until I'm feeling 100% again.
Hailey: (tears running down face) I don't feel good but I will keep playing. Nothing can stop me from having fun. I'll be looking up every few minutes just to make sure mommy and daddy are watching and feeling bad for me. I want to be held and cuddled but not for long, there are toys to be played with! I will be sleeping in mommy and daddy's bed but only for 1/2 the night. Hannah gets in my way and I like my space. I like my toys.
Emily: I'm sick? Oh no! Bottle and bed please. Bottle and bed please. Oh...I'm sick (whining), just give me a bottle and put me back to bed! Don't think about changing my formula to that stuff for babies who are sick...I'll give it right back to you within minutes. Bottle and bed please. My bed...not mommy and daddy's - I need MY BED! Why am I not in bed?!?!
