What a day!

We started out the day by going to Hartford to walk in the Race for the Cure. Mommy pulled us in our wagon on the 4K with a lot of people from work. One of the doctors she worked with just passed away recently from cancer so we walked in her memory. After the walk (and many many many pictures) we took a nap in the car on the way home. When we got home Uncle Joey and Kristin were here with fresh strawberries and apples that they just picked from the orchard. We love apples! There were some guys working on our porches so mommy & daddy walked us all the way to Friendly's and we got FREE ICE CREAM! YUMMY! Mommy was tired by this point though and she lost her patience when a guy came up and attempted to take a picture of us on his cell phone. We can't repeat what she said...let's just leave it at - it wasn't very nice. And then she was so frustrated that she dropped our ice cream on the ground! But someone inside saw what happened and thankfully he brought us another free ice cream. Good thing...cuz we were about to be mad at mommy! Then we came home, took a bath, ate dinner, brushed our teeth, read some books & went to sleeeeeeeeeeep. Oh yeah...mommy said we have to thank Marsha for all the help during the walk today. Daddy hurt his knee yesterday and couldn't walk so Marsha helped out by being our body guard. That was very nice of her!
Love,
Us

  1. Sounds like a fun, busy day. We went to Friendly's too but the line was really long!
